Ago Bay is the largest bay on the Shima Peninsula. It is famous for pearl cultivation. Scale: 30 km in length

Yokoyama Observatory
The 140-meter-high observatory overlooking Ago Bay, which boasts one of the most beautiful rias coastlines in Japan, offers a panoramic view of approximately 60 small islands and peninsulas that jut out like layers upon layers. The Yokoyama Observatory is also home to cherry blossoms, autumn leaves, and other natural colors that can be enjoyed from season to season.
In August 2018, the Tenku Café Terrace opened, and Mirador Shima, a take-out café inside the terrace, offers a variety of dishes such as aosa scones, Katsuo (bonito) bagaa, and Shima soft serve ice cream.
