Shima Mediterranean Village

A resort facility that recreates the atmosphere of a Mediterranean town, it is spread over a vast area of approximately 33,000 square meters (the equivalent of two Tokyo Domes).

The recreated towns are those of Andalusia and Castile in Spain, and Sardinia in Italy.

In addition, the Mykonorca Zone, inspired by the Greek island of Mykonos and the Spanish island of Menorca, and the Alhambra Zone, inspired by the hammam of the Alhambra Palace, have been added.

Based on the concept of “staying in a Mediterranean cityscape,” the Shima Mediterranean Village is an experiential, stay-and-go resort hotel, the design of which was supervised by Spanish architectural designer Luis Corbera.

Shima Mediterranean Village is popular among families, couples, and young women, and offers a wide variety of facilities, especially accommodations.

There are restaurants, cafes, select stores, and esthetic clinics, as well as craft workshops and cruise ship experiences. There is an admission fee to enter the village, but visitors can use the facilities on a day trip without staying overnight.

A swimming pool is available only during the summer season, and visitors can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Ago Bay in the background while feeling the sea breeze.

There are two types of accommodations: twin rooms and villa suite rooms. The villa suite rooms are detached villa style and offer a spacious 120m2 space.
